Dana Hamp Gulick has deep roots in Warwick and Manheim Townships that make up the 97th House District.  She grew up in Manheim Township in the Grandview Heights neighborhood, attending K-12 in Manheim Township School District. She earned two Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, one in German Language and Literature and one in Communications and Rhetoric.

Dana later purchased her grandmother’s home on South Locust Street in Lititz when her grandmother moved into Brethren Village.  Dana’s great-grandfather built the home in the early 1900’s after he moved from a family farm in Rothsville. Dana’s grandmother raised her father and aunt in this home.  Dana currently lives in Manheim Township with her parents and her 13-year-old daughter.

Dana has spent a career in business focusing on advertising, branding, and marketing, having worked at both Armstrong World Industries and Stoner Bunting Advertising.  She has experience supervising staff, planning major events and managing large and complex budgets.  She is a resourceful problem solver and project manager who is adept at translating ideas into reality.

Dana has served her community through a variety of volunteer roles.  She coached three seasons of Girls on the Run at Landis Run Intermediate School.  She is an active member of the Manheim Township Democrats and Lancaster County Democratic Committee and has co-chaired the Women’s Empowerment Team.  She recently joined the Social Justice Committee at the Lancaster YWCA and is a member of Lancaster Race Conscious Families.

Dana speaks with conviction and represents the principles and expectations of our diverse community.  She is looking forward to continuing to serve her community and would be honored to fight for working families on behalf of PA 97th’s legislative district.
